Sir William

Here he is!

This picture is so sweet to me.
Okay, let's back up a little bit.
A couple of days before I had the baby I had James take this picture. When I saw this picture today I thought "Dang, I was big!" I didn't think so at the time.

This was the day of delivery. I went to my midwife clinic to get checked out first. This was the first time James had ever been to the office. I love all the women who work there and they even liked James, which made me like them more. ;)
Before I got my water broke. I was feelin' pretty good.

Getting poked and prodded. NOT my favorite.Okay, so they broke my water at 3:30p and I walked around the halls until 5p. I had had two painful contractions at 4:50p ish and then we decided to start pitocin. We only ever used the minimum but that was enough. The contractions were painful and close right from the start. I have to say, I think I handled myself very well during the contractions. I was able to breath through them and stay relaxed. I didn't even cry or scream...until it came time to push at 6:15ish Thankfully I only had to push two times to get William out. He squeezed out with his hands up by his face. Can you believe that? It was wild! So no episiotomy and no epidural. I feel like Wonder Woman! Not that I would think less of you for it. He was born at 6:21p, March 30th. He weighed 7 lbs 14 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. By my standards, he was HUGE! See this post to compare him to Edin and Lizzie.

Just minutes after his birth. I don't even remember taking this picture...
He has the cutest cheeks!
I really like this face.

The best family picture ever!
Leaving the hospital

One of those awesome car seat crying pictures
Eh, not so bad.
This is how Lizzie greeted him. She brought him all kinds of toys to play with.

Can you believe it? He has hair, well, in the back at least.

Bald on top. Poor kid.

The rest of these are just pictures I really like of him.

One eyed Willy.

He looks like Edin.

Post-bath.

When I give the kids a bath and James isn't home I have to put William in the bouncy chair.

This girl LOVES him. I just thought of how funny it is that a baby is holding a baby.

Proud Brother

haha Edin looks kind of freaked out in that last pic! Let's see if I remember all the comments I made in my head while looking through this post--That IS the best family picture ever! So cute!! Good for you going natural, girl. That's a good hefty size of a baby for that! Your belly was pretty big, but after seeing the "about to leave the hospital pic", it looks like it was all baby! I miss you guys!!

I love the car seat pic. I love how those newborns are barely bigger than the buckle and chest latch. Clayton is now officially too big for his carrier car seat. They grow WAY too fast!!!

I didn't even consider how hard it would be to leave all the comments you were thinking. Darn. Write them down while you read. I want to hear them. Thanks Brittany and Amanda.

You are wonder woman. This is from a woman who always gets an epidural.

He is so cute!

Congratulations Lydia! He is absolutely ADORABLE! I'm glad the labor went well (and so fast & easy) and I'm glad he's a "big" healthy boy.

You have a darling family!
