Today's the day!
We're going to the hospital today to have the baby! (around 12p) I'm either having my water broken or going on pitocin. I hope it doesn't take forever. I'd really like to have this baby on 3/30/10. I really like patterns. :) Wish us luck. I'll update as soon as I can. Like, in three days.

My wish list
It's nice to know we have clothes enough for whichever gender our next baby is. We already have a crib, car seat, stroller, bottles, and all those crazy things we spend so much money on when we have our first child. So I think it would be fun to get "luxury" items for this Noob. Not to mention replenishing things that every kid needs new of. I've been putting together my "wish list" for a little while.
*The book "The Sleep Lady's Good Night, Sleep Tight" It's my favorite sleep training book. Every time I have another baby, I read it again but I have to borrow it from my sister-in-law or the library and then I can't write in it or keep it as long as I want. I usually go back to it when my child reaches the next age group to reference tips and find out how their sleep schedule should look.
*Lansinoh Ultra soft nursing pads (This is like, the ultimate luxury item. They are so dang soft but hard to find in stores.)
*Pampers Swaddlers diapers (the Good brand!) in new born or 1 or even size 2 cause it always sucks when you only get little ones and then they grow and there's no more free ones.
*Nuk binkys (size 0+) I"m a total sucker for the ones with cute print on them. And we prefer silicone.
*Carseat cover, you know that new trendy thing women have. Look at the cute fabric on this one. The one here is a cute design as well. (I should just make my own but I think I waited too long. I'd hate to get in the middle of that project and have the baby.)
*Crib sheets--with three mattresses all the same size and three crazy kids pooping, peeing, and throwing up on them, we need some more. (Update--my mom and I are going to make some together. I got some DANG CUTE fabric yesterday.)
*Binki clip--I have one for Lizzie but it's stretchy and I'm afraid of it breaking. And Lizzie figured out how to undo the Velcro. Punk.
*Winsor Pilates DVD's for after I have the baby. Winsor is my favor program. I really like the Bun and Theigh work out but I know I'm going to need a lot more than that after the baby comes...
*Powder formula dispenser I think these things are cool.
*Die-free Mylacon (gas drops)
*A mirror I see the baby in the car seat with while we drive
*Avent baby bottles like the ones here
*A dishwasher basket--I do plan on breast feeding but I'm going to work really hard to offer one bottle a day so if I ever need to, I can leave the baby a little longer.
*Toys! I think it would be nice if Number 3 didn't have to use all the same used toys from #1 and #2. This one is not a big deal.
*A bath sponge thing--We prefer to get a spongy thing the baby can lay on in the tub rather than a small tub thing the baby can sit in because we don't really have anywhere to store a baby tub. And with the sponge, you don't have to use very much water to get it high enough to keep the baby warm and safe. When you're done, roll it up and tuck it away! Plus, they are cheap and I don't feel guilty throwing them away to replace it when need be.
*A bigger bath mat for inside the tub to prevent them from slipping. We have one now for the kids' bath but it's really short and with two in there, it's not long enough to prevent them Both from slipping. Crazy kids.
I also "registered" at Babies R Us and Target.com just to have a place I can say "Hey, that's cool. I want one of those." I put a lot of the things from the registry here on the blog. And I really don't even care if it comes from Babies R Us. I just think the stuff is cool and could be handy.
